 Polson Montana become an attraction in the summer time when temperatures range from 80 to 95 degrees. All of Northwest Montana comes alive during the spring. In July Polson plays host to the Flathead Lake 3on3 and then in August hosts the largest Car Show in the Pacific Northwest. The Mission Valley Cruisers boast 500 hotrods, custom and classic that line the streets of Polson Montana. The Sandpiper Gallery also hosts Art Days in August where 100's of local and traveling artist come to show their talet and works.

Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48 states, with over 200 square miles of water and 185 miles of shoreline. Recreation on and around the lake includes: sailing, power boating, waterskiing, swimming, fishing, picnicking, and camping. In the summer, roadside stands along the east shore offer a variety of locally grown cherries, apples, plums, and other fruits.
